Introduction to Besite
BeSite is active in the creation of IT solutions in the field of Smart Industry and Smart Mobility. From BeSite, we have been working with the Johan Cruijff ArenA for over 17 years with all kinds of smart mobility solutions, such as the Mobility Portal. Sister company TripTicket handles the online sale of transport and parking tickets at events. Under the label Parkarenapoort.nl, we sell over 10 parking locations in the ArenA area online at events.
In 2019, a new business was started under the name TripService. We provide services in the field of navigation systems such as Waze, TomTom and Google Maps. Among other things, our tooling allows closures to be implemented in the navigation, allowing road users to be directed appropriately.
As this is becoming increasingly important at events, we will continue the partnership with the ArenA from TripService in the coming years.
Can you tell us more about this renewed partnership?
We have been working with the ArenA for over 17 years in the realisation of Smart Mobility solutions and this has now been renewed for 3 years with TripService.
Together with Johan Cruijff ArenA, we see many opportunities within this cooperation in the coming years. Within the ArenAPoort area , where the ArenA is situated, there are challenges in terms of sustainability, the travel behaviour of visitors, the shrinking parking supply, and large-scale housing construction.
With the innovations developed by TripService, we see opportunities to offer solutions to the challenges in the area and the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

What do you think is the secret of a succesful partnership?
For us, trust is the secret of a successful partnership, because only then you are able to be open and honest with each other. It is also important that you offer added value in both ways, so we can empower each other to be better and create a win-win-win.
In doing so, we want to be positively critical of the cooperation as much as we can. Keep asking each other questions about how things are going and challenge each other to be better every day.

The ability to pilot our innovations during events is the most powerful part of our collaboration with the Johan Cruijff ArenA. We can see the effect of our efforts for each event directly which adds great value. Because we can measure, it is also possible to improve. Given that we have signed a 3-year partnership with each other, it is possible to optimise our products over a longer period.
