Tanja Dik new CEO Johan Cruijff ArenA

For the past five years, Tanja Dik was active at Schiphol Group, where she was responsible for all retail, hospitality, catering, mobility, media and VIP services at the airport as the General Director Consumer Products & Services. Before this, she was working for Stage Entertainment as Director The Netherlands for years, where she was in the leadership position for all the Dutch live entertainment activities and Dutch theaters. Later she became International Venue Director and was responsible for all theater companies across the globe.

Henk Markerink has been the CEO of the ArenA since 1995. He was responsible for the successfull growth of the multifunctional stadium and was an active supporter of the growth of Amsterdam Zuidoost. Markerink was involved with the ArenA from the start, from 1991 he worked on the design and the construction of the stadium as the project manager. Recently Markerink got appointed as chairman of VNO-NCW of the Metropolitan Region of Amsterdam.

ArenA 25th anniversary

On August 14, 2021, the ArenA will exist for 25 years. The Johan Cruijff ArenA is the football stadium of the Netherlands, home to AFC Ajax and the Dutch National Team. It's also the muntifunctional accommodation to national and international music and dance events, as well as meetings in the business segment. These activities take place in close collaboration with diverse partners. High quality service, state of the art facilities, security and an optimal experience are the most important pillars.
