Partner Pitch: University of Amsterdam (UvA)

Right from the outset of the Johan Cruijff ArenA’s innovation platform the UvA has been involved in some interesting research regarding crowd management and network systems. One example is this research and resulting publication about movement patterns of visitors of an event at Johan Cruijff ArenA. Within the partnership, we are looking forward to enhance our relationship with our important neighbor in Amsterdam. We will seek to broaden the existing collaboration into other fields in which the UvA has expertise, such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, mobility and behavioural sciences.
