The advisory team of Johan Cruijff ArenA has been appointed by Egis to jointly support the French Ministry of Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty to assist in the renewal procedure for the Stade de France concession.

Stadium operator expertise

Stade de France is the 80.000 seater venue in Paris and hosted the 1998 World Cup final, several Champions League finals, many rugby matches, and a wide variety of concerts. In addition, the stadium will host the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

The current 30-year concession, held by the Consortium du Stade de France (CSDF), a public limited company owned by the Vinci and Bouygues Groups, expires on 30 June 2025.

The Johan Cruijff ArenA team will offer stadium operator expertise on likely scenarios for future business plans and stadium improvements and assess the bids of the future contenders in the concession.

Jean Bensaid, Managing Director, FIN INFRA of the Ministry of Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty: ‘The Johan Cruijff ArenA team brings in the stadium operator perspective. This is essential in developing the tender of the Stade de France.’
