The Weeknd takes the stage at the Johan Cruijff ArenA

After a previously cancelled tour, The Weeknd finally comes to Amsterdam. On June 24 2023 the singer will be in the Johan Cruijff ArenA with his After Hours Til Dawn world tour.

The Weeknd is a Canadian singer with hits like Save Your Tears and Starboy. The singer was supposed to tour through Europe in late 2022, but he cancelled this tour in late 2021 because he had a new vision. "I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums", he wrote in a Tweet. This new vision will now become a reality in the summer of 2023! The Weeknd's latest albums After Hours and Dawn FM are the main themes of this tour. Kautranada and Mike Dean are the opening acts.

The ticket sale for the tour will start Friday December 2 at 12:00 via Ticketmaster.

Abel Tesfaye, the artist's full name, is an ambassador of the World Food Programme of the United Nations and will work with them for this part of the tour. For each ticket sold, €1 will go to the XO Humanitarian Fund, an organisation that raises money for the global hunger crisis.
