It's official: Amsterdam Dance Event 2022 has begun! This Saturday October 22nd, Amsterdam Music Festival will take place in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Big artists will perform and the reveal of the Top 100 list of DJ Mag will take place. Everything you want to know about this special evening can be found on this page.

First things first: what is Amsterdam Music Festival?

Amsterdam Music Festival is a part of Amsterdam Dance Event, a conference in the world of dance and electronic music. During the conference days there are workshops, creative sessions and many more events you can be a part of. In the evenings and nights, big and small artists will show off their skills and talent. One of the biggest events during ADE is Amsterdam Music Festival, which takes place in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. During this event worldfamous artists like Afrojack and Martin Garrix will perform and there will be a big reveal of who the number 1 artist is on the Top 100 list by DJ Mag.

Who, what, where and when? 🤷🏽‍♀️

AMF is a big event with a lot going on. To make sure everyone can go to the event well-prepared, we've written down the most asked questions.

Who is AMF for?
For all lovers of dance, house, trance and electronic music!
What is there to do?
During AMF you get the chance to see big artists in the EMD world perform in the Johan Cruijff ArenA and you're there when the DJ Mag Top 100 gets revealed! On top of that, you can walk almost anywhere in the ArenA freely. This means you could watch Armin van Buuren from a seat in the first ring and Tiësto from the field, or the other way around. The choice is yours!
What do I wear?
We don't give each other weird looks at this event, so everyone should feel free to wear whatever they want to!
Where is AMF?
In the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam.
Where can I get tickets?
AMF is completely sold out. There is no ticket sale at the counters. We do not recommend buying tickets from organisations or people other than ADE.
Where can I get inside?
Visitors with a General Admission or GA Raver Ticket can use entrances A, B, C, G, H, J, M and K. For all other visitors the right entrance will be mentioned on the ticket.
Where do I go if I've got an ADE Pro Pass?
Visitors with an ADE Pro Pass can get a ticket at the counters of the Johan Cruijff ArenA. First come is first serve.
Where can I smoke?
It is not allowed to smoke in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. It is also not possible to go outside and back inside just to smoke, since every ticket cannot be used anymore once it has been scanned upon entry. This means that when you leave the Johan Cruijff ArenA, you cannot get inside anymore for any reason.
Where can I buy earplugs?
You can buy earplugs on different locations in the ArenA. They can be found at the info point on Arenadek South, Plein van de Toekomst, and at the Locker points on level 4.
Where can I find the lockers?
The lockers can be found on level 4, as well as other places in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Please note that it is not permitted to bring backpacks or other big bags inside. Only bags of max. A4 format and max. 10 centimeters thick are allowed.
When does the party start?
For visitors with a Raver Ticket, the show starts at 20:00 with Kapuchon, and doors will be open from 19:30. All other visitors are welcome from 21:00.
When are the counters open?
The counters of the Johan Cruijff ArenA are open only for questions, information or picking up a ticket with an ADE Pro Pass. They will be open on Saturday from 18:30 until 24:00 and are placed between entrance C and E.
What do I do if I or someone else needs (medical) help during AMF?
Find a steward of the Johan Cruijff ArenA as fast as you can. They will help you immediately.

Tip for people who travel by car! If you have empty seats, you can share your ride in the Slinger Widget. This way you can meet other fans and give them a fun ride to the ArenA. Would you rather take public transport? No problem. Plan your trip to train and subway station Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA or subway station Strandvliet, and you'll be at the Johan Cruijff ArenA after walking a few minutes. On Sunday morning between 06:00 and 07:00 extra trains and subways are scheduled to make sure everyone can get home safely. You can plan your trip here.
