The Dutch national team will play a practice game against Mexico on Wednesday 7 October in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The game precedes Orange's Nations League games in and against Bosnia and Herzegovina (October 11) and Italy (Milan, October 14).

Competitions without an audience
For the next three weeks, the football matches in the Johan Cruijff ArenA will be played without an audience. This therefore applies to the match between the Netherlands and Mexico on October 7th.

The Netherlands - Mexico
The last meeting with the team from Central America was on November 12, 2014, more than four months after the Dutch team eliminated in the eighth finals of the World Cup in Brazilian Fortaleza Mexico (2-1). In the Amsterdam ArenA, the profit this time went to Mexico (2-3).

The Netherlands and Mexico played against each other eight times before. The Orange won four times, the Mexicans were the strongest three times. One meeting ended undecided.

With the international match between the Netherlands and Mexico, Orange's agenda will be complete in 2020 with the following eight games.
